Sponsor Categories

The main reason you can assign a category to a sponsor is so that when presenting sponsors on your website, you can filter the type of sponsor you want to show in that spot. This way, you can have main sponsors and normal sponsors. As a rule, the main sponsors pay more and therefore want more visibility on your website. In that case, create a main (sponsor) category and assign it to your main sponsors. If you want to display a slider on the homepage with only the main sponsors, you can now easily do so by selecting only the main sponsor category in the slider settings.

In the screen above, you can create the categories. Just entering the name is sufficient here as this is also the only thing used. In the elements you can add to your website, the category is never shown. If you want it to, you will have to add labels for it yourself.
